We teamed up with 1st Kingsway Brownies, to litterpick around Kingsway Sports Pavilion!
Together, 11 Brownies, 2 leaders and 2 volunteers from Life’s a Beach, found an impressive 9.4 kilograms of litter! There was a lot of cans and bottles, but some of the more interesting finds included some coins, and a little action figure key chain.
The Brownies did an excellent job at working together and we were really impressed by the amount of enthusiasm they showed!
Thank you to the leaders of 1st Kingsway Brownies for inviting us to run this litterpick and an even bigger thank you to the Brownies themselves for being great litter pickers! We hope the girls enjoyed our visit and are feeling inspired to clean up litter where they can!
