We have had the most incredible year here at Life’s a Beach. Last year we were thrilled to have completed 7 cleans where we collected 202 kilos of litter with the help of 308 volunteers.
Despite a very wet summer, and lots of postponed events, we are thrilled to announce that we absolutely smashed our target by completing 24 cleans across the country in 2023. We collected a massive 827.6 kilos with the help of 630 volunteers.
Across the UK we have teamed up with groups, schools, businesses, universities, and other charities to work together towards our goal of keeping our planet litter free. We have achieved so much, but none of it would have been possible without the truly wonderful people who have volunteered 28,665 man hours with us this year.
So, to say thank you, we wanted to share some of our favourite photos of our amazing volunteers this year.
All ages, the youngest being just 18 months old, have joined us on our cleans this year. We’ve travelled the lengths and breaths of the country and have been so fortunate to have met so many wonderful people. Thank you to everyone who has supported the charity this year. We cannot wait to see what 2024 holds.
