We were proud to team up once again with the fantastic events company ZiaBia for another successful beach clean, this time at Weston-super-Mare. With the sun shining and spirits high, 7 dedicated volunteers gave up half a day to help protect our coastline and make a real difference.
Together, we collected 8 bags of litter, weighing in at a total of 14.78kg. From plastic bottles to forgotten food wrappers, every item we picked up was one less piece of rubbish threatening our marine life and beautiful beach. Among the litter, we also found abandoned fishing gear (ghost gear) and plastic nurdles, small but seriously harmful pollutants that pose a real threat to marine life.
A huge thank you to ZiaBia for partnering with us yet again, and to everyone who took part—your time, energy, and passion for the environment are truly inspiring. Small actions lead to big changes, and we’re thrilled to be part of a community that cares. Here’s to many more clean-ups and a cleaner, greener future!
