On Monday, Life’s a Beach had the pleasure of visiting the children at Eastington Primary School. We spent the day with 142 students, educating them about the dangers of pollution, and inspiring them to help battle the problem.

Starting with an assembly from our Charity Manager, Sophie, the children then took part in our decomposition timeline activity to help strengthen their pollution knowledge and make the day a little more fun! After this, the students headed outside kitted with hi-vis and litter pickers, to clean up 4.89 kilos!

Each year group took turns cleaning up around the school. They focused particularly on the areas where the wind had blown litter, after learning in assembly how the wind can contribute to littering.

Well done to all the students who took part in making the school a cleaner environment, and a big thank you to Eastington school for being so welcoming. We know how important future generations are in the battle against protecting our planet, and we hope the children are feeling inspired after our visit!
