We teamed up with Gloucester Rainbows for a local litter pick around St Barnabus Church! The Rainbows rolled up their sleeves and made a real difference to the nearby area in just an hour.

Armed with litter pickers, gloves, and big smiles, 16 enthusiastic Rainbows took part in a litter pick around the area. Their teamwork and determination paid off as by the end of the session, they had collected an impressive 2 full bags of rubbish, weighing a total of 3.7 kilograms! That’s a lot for little arms!

The girls showed incredible commitment to caring for the environment and helping keep our community a cleaner, safer place for everyone. Along the way, they learned how small actions can have a big impact and that working together makes even hard work fun.

This activity ties in perfectly with the Rainbow values of helping others, taking responsibility, and making the world a better place. A huge well done to all the Rainbows who took part!

Together, you’ve proven that even one hour can make a huge difference, and made a huge improvement to your local area!
