We were thrilled to team up with the volunteers from Gotherington Beavers for a fantastic community litter pick held during the recent hot weather.

A total of 21 volunteers , including 19 children and 3 adults, took part in the event, showing incredible enthusiasm and teamwork throughout the session. Together, they collected 3.64kg of litter from the local area, helping to keep the environment clean and safe for everyone.

Despite the very warm conditions, the young volunteers worked hard to collect discarded packaging, bottles, cans, and other litter that had been left behind. Their positive attitude and determination were inspiring to see, and they should all be very proud of the difference they made.

Events like this are a wonderful way to encourage young people to care for their local environment while having fun and working together as a team.

A huge thank you to everyone from Gotherington Beavers who took part, your efforts were greatly appreciated and made a real impact on the community.
