It was great to be back at Durrington All Saints Infant School for another day of learning and litter picking.
We first visited the school as part of our Waste Less programme in February 2025, so it was fantastic to return and see the children getting involved once again. We spent the afternoon chatting about recycling, plastic pollution and the simple things we can all do to help keep our planet cleaner and greener.

The pupils were full of energy and had plenty of ideas about how to reduce waste and look after the environment. It was brilliant to see how engaged they were and how much they already knew about the importance of protecting the planet.

Working with the school council, we grabbed the litter pickers and headed outside. The children did a fantastic job helping to clean up the school playground working together to collect litter and make a real difference. Together they collected 1.84kg of litter; a great result!

A huge thank you to all the staff and pupils for having us back. We always enjoy visiting Durrington All Saints and love seeing so many young people getting excited about taking care of the environment. Well done to everyone who took part, you should all be very proud of yourselves!
