We were delighted to welcome a team of seven volunteers from Amazon for another litter pick, this time in sunny Swansea. Staff gave up their time in the sun in order to make their local area
Seven enthusiastic volunteers set off in different directions to clear up the local streets. Together they joined forces to collect an impressive 37 bags of litter during the session. Altogether, the waste removed weighed a huge 108kg a fantastic achievement in just a few hours.
Among the items collected were car parts, drinks bottles, cans, and large amounts of discarded food packaging, highlighting the scale of littering in the area. Thanks to the hard work of the volunteers, these items were removed before they could cause further harm to the environment and local wildlife.
The team’s energy and commitment made a real difference, helping to create a cleaner and more welcoming environment for everyone. Events like this show the positive impact that businesses and volunteers can make when working together for the community.
