Last night, we had the pleasure of teaming up with a fantastic group of Rainbows in Dursley for a community litter pick at Dursley Recreation Field!
Armed with litter pickers, gloves, and plenty of enthusiasm; 13 volunteers made up of 10 Rainbows and 3 adult helpers, spent over an hour helping to make their local green space cleaner and safer for everyone.

Their hard work paid off, with the kids collecting almost two kilograms of litter from around the recreation field. Every piece of rubbish removed helps protect local wildlife, improves the environment, and keeps community spaces enjoyable for all.
Throughout the session, the Rainbows showed great teamwork and determination, demonstrating how small actions can make a big difference when people come together. As they explored the field, they learned more about the impact of litter on the environment and the importance of looking after the places we share.

A huge well done to all 13 volunteers who took part. Your dedication and positive attitude helped make a real difference to Dursley Recreation Field, and you should be incredibly proud of your achievement!
