We partnered with CDW for their 2nd clean up event of the year and this time we headed to London and tackled Holland Park!
A fantastic 33 volunteers arrived bright and early, eager to get stuck in and make as big a difference as possible in just a couple of hours.
Holland Park had a serious helping hand from the staff at CDW, as they collected an impressive 23 bags of litter from across the park. There were some really interesting items found including a hoover, a stapler, an empty purse, a toy duck and a phone charger, all alongside the more common culprits of bottles, wrappers, cigarettes and cans.
The litter pick was more than just a cleanup – it gave colleagues a chance to spend time together outdoors while making a visible difference to the local environment. The 23 bags of litter came to a whopping 70.58 kilograms of litter!
Thank you to CDW for choosing Life’s a Beach to help facilitate their 3-day cleanup event, but an even bigger thank you to the 33 volunteers who gave up their time to join us in making a difference at Holland Park! We cannot wait for the last location!
