Beating the Heat for a Cleaner Brighton Beach

With temperatures climbing above 30°C, our latest Life’s a Beach clean-up in Brighton was one of our hottest yet! Despite the blazing sunshine, our fantastic volunteers teamed up with NextGen Operations to help keep the coastline clean and safe for everyone to enjoy.

Together, we collected 8.07kg of litter, including plenty of food wrappers, drink packaging, a knife, and pieces of broken glass. Removing these items not only makes the beach look better but also helps protect wildlife and reduces hazards for visitors.

It was a challenging day in the heat, but the team’s enthusiasm never faded. Every piece of litter collected helps prevent pollution from reaching our seas and shows the impact that can be made when businesses and communities work together.

A huge thank you to everyone from NextGen Operations for rolling up their sleeves and making a real difference. We hope to see you all at another beach clean soon! If you would like to book a beach clean with us, contact hello@lifesabeach.org to find out more.
