36th Cheltenham Brownie’s Litterpick!

On Thursday, Life’s a Beach had the pleasure of visiting 36th Cheltenham Brownies, for a litterpick in the local area!

32 Brownie’s geared up in hi-vis vests, suncream and sun hats to tackle the local area in glorious sunshine! Armed with litterpickers, the girls got stuck in to searching for as much litter as possible!

Some of the items found include glow sticks, coffee cup lids, a sock and a stash of Malteser packets!

Altogether, the unit collected 1 huge bag of litter weighing 3.06kg! The girls all agreed they were really suprised by how much they managed to find, as before heading out they were concerned we might not find any litter!

Thank you to 36th Cheltenham Guides for inviting Life’s a Beach to run this litterpick! And an even bigger thank you to the girls for their enthusiasm and great work collecting so much litter! We hope they have been left feeling inspired to fight plastic pollution!
