Life’s a Beach Festival Volunteer Code of Conduct
Hey! đź‘‹
Thank you for volunteering your time and energy with Life’s a Beach this festival season! We are so excited to be helping keep the festival space clean, safe, and enjoyable for everyone, whilst reducing plastic pollution being washed away to our coastlines.
Life’s a Beach want our volunteers to have a wonderful, balanced weekend and our volunteer programme has been designed to give you enough time to rest, have fun and enjoy the festival!
Please remember, even when you are “off shift”, you are attending the festival with Life’s a Beach and therefore are still representing our charity. This Code of Conduct sets out what we expect from all volunteers so that everyone has a positive experience!
By ticking the box in the volunteer application form(s), you are agreeing to every clause set out in this code. Failure to follow our code of conduct will result in deductions from your returnable deposit, or immediate removal from the event, as decided by LAB management. A first offence will result in ÂŁ100 deduction; a second offence will result in a full deposit penalty. We know this sounds scary, but it’s not! Turn up, put in your shift, sign out and have SENSIBLE fun, and you’ll be fine. We don’t want any drama, the deposit scheme is just to ensure our volunteers remain dedicated to our cause!Â
Any questions, feel free to email hello@lifesabeach.org 🌊✨
