Exclusive Networks Tackle the Beach: A Freezing but Fruitful Clean-Up

On a freezing cold morning at Hunstanton Beach in Norfolk, a team of 10 dedicated volunteers from Exclusive Networks joined Life’s a Beach for an impactful beach clean. Braving icy winds and wintery conditions, the group spent more than two hours working along the shoreline and managed to collect 10 full bags of litter, weighing an impressive 46.51 kilos!

Throughout the clean-up, the volunteers uncovered far more than everyday rubbish. Hidden beneath the sand were several unusual items, including a buried wheelie bin, an old raincoat, and even an oil can. These unexpected finds were a stark reminder of how varied and persistent coastal litter can be, and just how important regular beach cleans are for protecting our environment and wildlife.

Despite the bitter weather, the Exclusive Networks team remained enthusiastic and committed from start to finish. Their effort made a visible difference to the Norfolk coastline, helping to keep Hunstanton Beach cleaner, safer, and more enjoyable for visitors and marine life alike.

We want to say a huge thank you to the Exclusive Networks’ volunteers for their hard work, positivity, and willingness to take on the elements. Their effort helps us to reduce beach litter and preserve the natural beauty of our coastlines!
