Last month, we had the absolute pleasure of running another lunchtime litter pick with 4 amazing volunteers from ProCook for our September Lunchtime Litterpick!
In just half an hour, the team collected a brilliant 5.21 kilograms of litter from Indurent Park, where the ProCook Store Support Centre and Life’s a Beach offices are located! That’s over a kilogram of litter collected by each volunteer, and no longer polluting our parks, paths, or waterways. Great job team!
Armed with litter pickers, buckets and big smiles, everybody dived right in, making a real difference in such a short space of time. We collected a lot of plastic and packing material, which looks like it had been blown into the bushes through the wind.
We absolutely love working with people who care, and our long term partnership with ProCook continues to nurture our mission here at Life’s a Beach. Their commitment to reducing single-use plastics and protecting the planet shines through in everything they do, this litter pick was just an example.
